Home description

The Bonalba Golf Resort is located in the small municipality of Mutxamel, less than a 15 minute drive to the city of Alicante. The beaches of San Juan and El Campello are less than 10 minutes from the resort, whilst the main international airport at Alicante is a 20 minute drive south along the A-7 motorway. The main tourist town of Benidorm, with the Terra Mitica theme park is a 20 minute drive to the north, whilst Torrevieja, with it's golden beaches is located 45 minutes along the coast to the south. For golfers there are over 15 golf courses within a 1 hours drive of the resort, including Villamartin, La Dequesa, Alicante, La Sella, La Finca and Campoamar. For shopping, there is a Carrefour hypermarket located in San Juan, whilst in the seaside town of El Campello there are endless shops, numerous bars and restaurants overlooking the sea. There is also Alicante, with it's huge harbour area, endless bars, restaurants , clubs and of course, superb shopping.











The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

With more than 3,000 years of history, patent in the remains left by different civilizations, the capital of the Costa Blanca offers the most varied landscapes and the most enviable contrasts. A cultural city with wide parks, gardens and a city centre with lots of businesses, Alicante also enjoys night-life. Furthermore, its fine sand beaches count with multiple services. And it goes on impoving! Alicante keeps up its efforts in order to increase the number of projects held and the ilusion to maintain itself, as always, as a tourist destination par excellence.

As one would expect of a sea-oriented city, the sea front (with its beaches, port and promenade) is the main characteristic of Alicante. The fine sands of san Juan, the well-known beach furthest to the north with a full range of services and seasonal facilities for the rental of catamarans and windsurfs, stretches 3 km to Cape Huertas which separates it from the popular Albufereta beach. Next to the town centre and the promenade lies Postiguet beach, a former spa and now lively all year round.

The port is the busiest leisure area in Alicante with, in addition to restaurants, pubs and discos, a yacht club and marina with hundreds of possibilities for learning to sail: dinghy sailing, chartered vessels and diving centres. Boats sail from the port to the Isla de Tabarca marine nature reserve, with a small, clean, sand and pebble beach and a remarkable seabed carpeted in underwater plants that is a paradise for diving enthusiasts.

Finally to the south of the port lies Saladar beach with its fine sand and wide range of facilities. Sport activities are complemented by three excellent golf courses plus a tennis club, riding club and a wide selection of sports facilities.

Alicante / Muchamiel area

The apartment is not just for golfers, it makes a superb base for family holidays. With swimming and tennis available at the apartments, horse riding, beaches, Terra Mitica theme park, Aqualandia water park, Safari, Waterfall, swimming and sailing (amongst a few of the many attractions available), all within a short driving distance. For golfers, Bonalba's, 18 hole, Par 72 championship course will prove to be a challenge for golfers of all levels. It is laid out with a variety of trees and lakes, with a large number of bunkers. The average annual climate of 18 degrees makes Bonalba the ideal place with the perfect climate to enjoy golf everyday of the year.

About the property

The villa is a detached 3 bedroom two bathroom with private pool. There is a roof terrace and downstairs terrace, garden with large marble table and benches with matching barbeque and a pool area to the other side of the villa. A gated drive for car standing.

The villa facilities include an alarm system and air conditioning. The lounge/dining room has a table and four chairs, sofa, which can act as another bed and chair, TV, DVD and CD player.

The kitchen includes a washing machine, cooker, fridge, freezer and microwave.

The bedrooms each have two single beds and well fitted wardrobes with drawers and one of the bedrooms is downstairs.

Upstairs there is a bathroom with shower overhead, a toilet, washbasin and bidet. There is a 2nd bathroom downstairs with shower, toilet, washbasin and bidet.

The villa is situated in the district of Muchamiel only five minutes drive from the traditional Spanish resort of El Campello, with its numerous bars and restaurants, beautiful marina, miles of golden sandy beaches and a train station, taking you to Alicante city one way and as far as Denia in the other.

The villa is a 20 minute drive from Alicante city and airport. It is also only 30 minutes from Benidorm and from Tera Mitica theme park and water park.

The villa is built on a small mountain and has panoramic views of the coast and the city. It is next to the prestigious Bonalba Golf, which is an 18 hold 72 par course. A new spa and water park have recently opened at Bonalba with a large pool, water slides, gym, jacuzzi and treatment rooms.

Alicante area

Torrevieja 10 km to the north, Torrevieja is good for shopping with Carrefour hypermarket on the N332 and a good

quality and value. There is plenty of life along the beach and promenade.
Guardamar has a lovely traffic free promenade and beach. A good walk through the sand dunes park takes you to the
marina where you can visit the marina café (closed Mondays) and watch a little of the world go quietly by. Alicante
is worth a visit for the marina and its variety of restaurants and bars, El Barrio with its street tapas bars.
